table data from an dataset

Please forgive me, the person who built this before me no longer works here and i need some help.

i have a table cell that should populate with the data from a dataset field. When i run the report the cell comes up blank, but when i run the query to populate the cell on SQL Server I get records. This is probably something simple, but i can't figure it out.
