I have been working on this issue for about a day and half and im getting nowhere. In a last ditch attempt to sort this I have posted this.
I have a web page (VB) that is about 10 text boxes, when a user completes boxes they click submit and it saves them in an SQL DB. IT also sends and email with a link that has an ID number in the querystring. When a user clicks it it should go back to the page an populate the textboxes from the DB based on the ID. This is where I am having the problem and its beyond annoying as I know this should be easy but as I new to this I cant figure it out.
1. I would post what I have so far but I think I went down the wrong route so it would confuse things.
2. I need the vb code to execute a stored procedure pass it an ID number and then return a row from a database
3. I need a stored procedure to accept the ID and then pass back a row based on that
4. I need the vb code to accept the row and copy each field into each text box.
I know this will seem easy and as I have seen before forums dont usually post exact answers but all the help
you can give will be greatly appreciated.
